L’Atelier, a worldwide watch on innovation and communication technologies
L’Atelier is the BNP Paribas Group’s technology and innovation tracking unit. For over 30 years, it has been tracking innovative uses of information and communication technologies across the world.
L’Atelier is established in three major geographical areas that are key for innovation — the United States, China and Europe — so as to spot trends and opportunities, advise and support companies.
Based in China, at the heart of Shanghai, l’Atelier Asia analyses the Asian digital sector, new internet leaders, start-ups, and research centres to detect examples of “disruptive innovation” that bring about concrete changes for companies and their employees.
L’Atelier Asia targets enterprises that wish to gain a better understanding of the technological challenges and opportunities presented in the Asian markets (most notably Japan, Korea, China and India), either with a view to possible international expansion or in relation to their local development needs.
Its core activities involve conducting customised advisory assignments, organising fact-finding trips, and creating training sessions for managers in the communication, marketing and human resources fields.
