We have been made aware of recent attempts by unauthorised third parties to impersonate BNP Paribas staff and/or websites for fraudulent purposes, such as requesting a bank transfer.
It is important to note that the official address of our China website is https://china.bnpparibas.com/en/. The Bank has not, and will not conduct client onboarding, request clients or prospects to open accounts, transfer funds or conduct other financial product sales activities through this website or open any other website for such purpose. For clients who use BNP Paribas online banking services, if you are unsure whether the website is genuine, please contact your relationship manager.
The Bank has not, and will not authorise its staff to conduct client onboarding, request clients or prospects to open accounts, transfer funds or conduct other financial product sales activities through personal emails (e.g. Hotmail, Gmail) or social media accounts (e.g. LinkedIn).
The Bank reminds Internet users and investors to carefully identify authentic websites, e-mails and legitimate financial product sales activities and to invest cautiously to avoid being deceived by suspicious individuals and suffering losses. If there is any doubt, we recommend that you immediately report to the relevant department or the police to safeguard your own legitimate rights and interests.
