Position Purpose
The role is to assist in translating equity research reports between Chinese and English (industry analysis, in-depth company reports, etc.)
Internship period required: 3-5 days a week for at least 4-5 months in Shanghai
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Assist in translating equity research reports between Chinese and English (industry analysis, in-depth company reports, etc.);
- Ensure the translated content is professional and accurate, adhering to the standards of the financial industry;
- Participate in proofreading, formatting, and basic data processing tasks;
- Support the research team in completing other related tasks;
- Permanent Control Aspects:
- Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
- Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- Ensure audit recommendations are resolved within the specific timeline.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Students from a reputable university, with a preference for majors in Finance, Economics, Translation and Interpretation, English Language and Literature, or related fields;
- Excellent bilingual abilities in Chinese and English (must provide proof of CET-6/TEM-8/IELTS/TOEFL scores);
- Familiarity of financial terminology is preferred, with a basic understanding of the securities market;
- Detail-oriented and patient, possesses strong learning ability and team spirit;
- Proficient in using Office software (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint).
Specific Qualifications (if required)
- Passed examination of Securities Practitioner is preferred
